The Wild Roots of Our Cookies
Feral Kids Cookie Co. was born out of motherhood, faith, and a deep conviction that childhood is slipping away from so many kids.
As a mom of three little boys, I never realized how quickly the world would try to tame them. Sit down. Be quiet. Stop climbing. Stop exploring. Stop being so loud, so wild, so full of energy. Everywhere I looked, it felt like boyhood, and honestly childhood in general, was being treated like a problem to fix instead of a gift from God to nurture.
But when I look at my boys, I don’t see something broken. I see children fearfully and wonderfully made by their Creator. I see curiosity, adventure, boldness, imagination, dirt-covered feet, laughter, scraped knees, and little boys who were never designed to spend their lives staring at screens and being told to shrink themselves down.
That conviction changed the way I viewed our home, our family, and eventually these cookies.
Some of my favorite memories growing up weren’t fancy vacations or expensive things. They were simple moments like eating homemade cookies after playing in the creek, being outside until dark, spending time with family and friends, laughing around the kitchen table, and living fully present in the moment God had given us.
That’s the feeling we want these cookies to bring back.
Feral Kids Cookie Co. is about more than dessert. It’s about creating moments that pull people back toward family, community, childhood wonder, and the goodness of slowing down long enough to enjoy the people God gave us.
The name “Stay Feral” comes from Romans 12:2:
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…”
To us, being feral doesn’t mean chaos without purpose. It means refusing to let the world tame what God created for His glory. It means raising children who love Jesus more than popularity. It means being bold enough to stand apart from a culture constantly demanding conformity. It means keeping wonder, joy, adventure, and faith alive whether you are 5 years old or 50.We want our business, our family, and our cookies to reflect that truth.
Raised Wild. Baked right.
Our Process
We believe in the power of simple living and good ingredients. Every batch is a testament to our commitment to the wild, the real, and the delicious.
Small-Batch Craft
We bake in small batches to ensure every cookie is perfectly balanced and never rushed. Quality over quantity, always.
We are not a brick and mortar cookie shop so we try to do as many events, cookie drops/orders as we can to make sure our customers get to enjoy our cookies!
Simple But Bold
At Feral Kids Cookie Co., we’re not trying to create a sugar bomb you regret after two bites. We don’t chase over-the-top “trendy” flavors or stuff our cookies so full that all you taste is frosting or candy. We want balance. We want you to taste the real ingredients, the homemade cookie, and every layer of flavor in each bite.
Our goal is simple: nostalgic, homemade gourmet cookies that feel fun without making you feel miserable afterward. Because let’s be honest.. the kids still need to be chased around and life keeps moving after dessert.
Fresh Ingredients & Local Support
We’re not going to pretend every ingredient in our cookies comes from a farmhouse down the road, because some of our favorite flavors include things like Oreos, candy bars, Biscoff cookies, and nostalgic treats people genuinely love. But whenever we can source locally and support our community, we absolutely do.
For example, our eggs are locally sourced pasture-raised, non-GMO eggs from a small farm right here in our area. We care about using quality ingredients, baking everything fresh in small batches, and creating cookies that feel homemade, fun, and worth sharing with the people you love.
